The story so far.
The icy wind was the only thing Craig could feel. He looked up, only wishing that some would listen to him. It was if he was invisible, a ghost in the system, the people in the street paid him no notice. He looked around and noticed a man glaring at him. He had... An unnatural look about himself, it was almost as if he wasnt entirely there. Then as he was watching, something obscured his view of the man. Something that made Craig freeze in fear, standing infront of the man, clear as the light of day was a homonculi.
He turned around and started walking away as quickly as possible. Which, wasnt very fast at all, considering the sheer amount of people swarming around him, busy with their mundane every day tasks, yet apparently unable to see or even feel the terrifying presence of the Barghest. He was frightened, he wanted to be alone. Then his face turned pale and started to shake, he couldn't believe that he hadn't spotted it before. The world around him seemed to shake, crack, even dissolve. Even as he stared at the world, it went completely black and he passed out.
Hospital doors flew open as a group of medics wheeled a man on a stretcher to A&E. As they took the man into A&E he suddenly woke up.
"WHERE AM I? WHERE AM I?! WHERE IS THAT, THAT THING?!" He cried.
"You need to calm down sir, you have just suffered an almost fatal heart attack." The doctor replied.
He lay back down and closed his eyes, he didnt want to remember that vile hound of hell. After all the doctors had left, he tried to get some sleep. Something, somewhere far away, whispered soflty to the man. "Craig... We know. We know what you really want. Embrace us, and we shall embrace you..."
He opened his eye's startled, and looked around the room for the source of the sound.
Yet to his astonishment, nothing was there apart from the other patients. Then as he lay back down to get some more rest, he heard the voice again, but this time it was in more of a snicker.
